Return & Refund Policy
At Dad First, we take pride in creating high-quality products designed for dads who lead from the front. Due to the limited nature of our products and inventory, please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.
All Sales Are Final
All purchases made through Dad First are considered final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect sizing selections
- Incorrect color selections
- Ordering the wrong product
- Delayed deliveries caused by shipping carriers
- Refused or abandoned shipments
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
Apparel Exchanges (T-Shirts, Hoodies & Clothing)
We understand that sizing can sometimes be difficult when purchasing online. For this reason, we offer a limited exchange policy on apparel items only.
To qualify for an exchange:
- You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
- All original tags and packaging must be included.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- Exchanges are limited to size or color changes of the same product only.
- Only one exchange per order is permitted.
The following items are not eligible for exchange:
- Sale items
- Clearance items
- Promotional or discounted items
- Custom or limited-edition products
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, damage, odors, stains, or alterations
If your requested size or color is unavailable, store credit may be issued at our discretion.
Exchange Process
- Email us at hello@dadfirst.co within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and reason for the exchange.
- If approved, we will provide return instructions.
- Once the item is received and inspected, we will process and ship your replacement item.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the exchange is required due to an error on our part.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Dad First is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Hats
Due to hygiene considerations and the limited nature of our hat collections, all hat sales are final.
We do not offer:
- Refunds
- Returns
- Exchanges
for any hat purchases, including sizing, fit, or change-of-mind requests.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item
If the issue is verified, we will provide a replacement or alternative resolution at our discretion.
Items reported outside the 7-day window may not be eligible for replacement.
International Orders
All international sales are final.
Dad First does not collect or prepay:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Brokerage fees
- Other country-specific charges
These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, returned due to unpaid customs fees, or otherwise rejected by the recipient, the order will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
Dad First is not responsible for orders shipped to addresses entered incorrectly by the customer.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges will apply before the order can be resent.
Policy Updates
Dad First reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
